Theater…
March 25, 2006I met someone over the IRC the other night and well, she was looking for cast members for their humble theater company. I asked her for some details and I asked to join them. I’ve only been on theater once in my life and I really did love it. I enjoy onstage acting because it gives me a sense of being. I may be playing a character that that is not my own. However, I am able to make that character as me. It isn’t simply reciting memorized line from the script. It’s more on being one with the character and letting the audience know who that character is. It doesn’t really matter if the character is small or not. Everything on stage is the element of the story. This creates the illusion that you really are there where the story is.
I will be joining them tomorrow morning. Theater has played a bigger role in my life rather me playing a role in the theater. It really helped me out grow out of my shell. I just know this will be one those experiences in my life that I know I will tell my grand children about.
